Ledger Nano X Battery Draining too Fast?
The Ledger Nano X’s battery
The Ledger Nano X rocks a 100mAh lithium-ion battery, which Ledger claims should last you several hours of active usage, while it should last you a few months of idle time on a full charge.
Maintaining the Ledger Nano X’s battery health
You simply charge the Ledger Nano X like other electronic devices like smartphones — by plugging it in on a computer or a power socket.
Just like any other electronic device, it would be healthier for your battery if you put it on charge only when necessary and leaving your device plugged in and charging can degrade your battery quicker.

Device age
If you’ve had your Ledger Nano X for a few years already, expect the battery to degrade gradually. At some point, the device will have bad battery life — the same with other devices such as smartphones and laptop computers.
Brand new device, but has very bad battery life regardless
If your Ledger Nano X is brand new (and purchased on the official Ledger website) and has a really bad battery life compared to what’s advertised, then you probably received a faulty device.
Device or battery replacement
If it’s the case that your Ledger Nano X has very bad battery life even if it’s brand new, we suggest contacting Ledger support and requesting a device or battery replacement. You can contact Ledger support here.
The Ledger Stax
The Ledger Stax is Ledger’s newest hardware wallet release yet. If you want a new device with a bigger battery(200 mAh) and better features(it has a touch screen), you might want to check it out here.
