is Rollbit Safe, or a Scam?
If you’re active on crypto Twitter or if you’re just a gambler in general, you’ve probably heard of Rollbit as it’s been gaining a lot of publicity due to its usage from a few prominent crypto influencers on social media and on YouTube.
What is Rollbit?
While it’s mostly known for sports betting and gambling in general — Rollbit is a sort of almost “all in one” platform — with Rollbit supporting gambling, crypto trading, and NFTs. They also have a native token called Rollbit Coin (RLB), which you can stake to potentially receive revenue share through their lottery system.
Among other things, they also have other witty features such as clans, portfolios, livestreaming, battles, and their hilarious chatbox.
While Rollbit has been operating since 2020, they’ve received significant usage just recently.
is Rollbit a scam?
While we can’t guarantee things, Rollbit seems to be quite a reputable platform. Just take note that like any other platform, fraudulent activities can happen so we heavily recommend depositing money wisely.
Based on our knowledge, Rollbit is just as reputable as the famous Stake.com platform.
is Rollbit safe and secure?
As with most centralized platforms like exchanges and gambling platforms, we really can’t know for sure how safe it is due to the source code being closed-source.
Due to this fact, just like any other exchange and platform in general, we only recommend depositing money that you’re going to use (for trading or gambling, in this case). For long-term holdings, we heavily recommend using hardware wallets such as Ledger.
Account Security
Fortunately, Rollbit supports basic account security measures such as e-mail verification and 2-factor authentication. We heavily recommend turning both options on for extra layers of security if it’s the case that someone gets a hold of your login credentials.
Of course, always remember to use a secure password(with numbers, characters, and preferably 40+ characters long).
Should I use Rollbit?
This will totally depend on you. If you want to do sports betting, play casinos, or trade crypto futures, then Rollbit might be a decent platform for such activities.
If you don’t have a Rollbit account yet, you can create an account here.
Does Rollbit require AML/KYC?
Fortunately, Rollbit currently doesn’t require the submission of AML/KYC documents — which is definitely a good thing in terms of security, privacy, and the fact that creating an account and using it is a lot less of a hassle.
Final thoughts
We really can’t recommend nor advocate against the usage of Rollbit due to gambling potentially being detrimental to one’s finances. If you want to go through use Rollbit, we heavily recommend gambling or trading wisely and responsibly as to prevent financial catastrophe.
