How to Purchase your own Ledger Nano S/X
The Ledger Nano X
- Head over to Ledger’s website here.
- Scroll down a bit for the Add to cart button to appear, and click on the Add to cart button.
- Your cart would then appear. Double-check your order if the right item and quantity are listed, then click on the Checkout button.
- You will now be required to enter your personal details. Make sure to enter your details accurately to make sure your package would be delivered to the correct address. Click on the Continue button when you’re done.
- Select your preferred shipping method, then click on the Continue button.
- Select your preferred payment method, then click on the Complete Order button.
- You have now ordered your Ledger hardware wallet. Make sure to check your email for order updates.
Should I purchase from 3rd party sellers like Amazon or eBay instead?
While you can do this, we heavily suggest against it. Purchasing from the Official Ledger website is heavily recommended to prevent purchasing used Ledger wallets, or Ledger wallets that have been altered in a way to potentially steal your coins.
Should I purchase the Ledger Nano S, or the Ledger Nano X?
Purchase the Ledger Nano X if:
- You prefer having the best and latest.
- You want to hold a lot of different cryptocurrencies at the same time.
- You want to be able to use its Bluetooth feature to send and receive funds using your mobile phone.
- You want your hardware wallet to have a battery.
Purchase the Ledger Nano S if:
- You want to spend less money on your hardware wallet.
- You’re only planning on holding 2-4 different cryptocurrencies at the same time.
- You’re not planning on using your phone to make transactions, and you’re fine with using your computer.
